CCD has also built the space into a hub for local artists, using that connection to draw attention from the broader specialty coffee industry to what's happening in this part of Panama.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis coffee comes from a joint project between CCD and Rogue Wave, designed to bring high-quality Panamanian coffee to market at an accessible price point. It draws from two farms, Los Naranjos and Cerro Horqueta, both around 8 hectares and sitting between 1,250 and 1,750 meters above sea level. After ripe cherries are picked, they go through washing and drying, then are hand-sorted by expert local indigenous women from the region.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eRogue Wave visited CCD in March 2023, arriving on the exact day the team was sorting their coffee, and returned in March 2024 to check on the quality of the new harvest.
