About the Coffee

Dream State is Bright Jenny's house medium roast blend, built to be an everyday coffee that still has some personality. The blend format gives Bright Jenny's roasters room to pull from multiple origins and adjust seasonally, keeping the cup consistent without locking it into a single harvest or farm.

Blends like this are typically built around a base component that carries body and sweetness, with secondary coffees added to layer in complexity. The "medium roast" designation here means the beans are taken far enough to develop sweetness and roundness, but not so far that roast character starts masking the coffee's underlying flavors. It's a deliberate middle ground aimed at people who want something easy to drink every day without the coffee tasting flat or one-dimensional.

Bright Jenny is a Vancouver-based coffee roaster. Beyond that, their roaster bio page was unavailable at the time of writing, so we're not able to share the full founding story here. We'll update this when we have more to go on.

What we can say is that Dream State reflects a roasting philosophy aimed at approachable, drinkable coffee that doesn't talk down to the person drinking it. That's enough to get us interested.
