Coffee subscription FAQs
What is the best coffee subscription in Canada?
The best coffee subscription depends on what you value: freshness, variety, or simplicity. Stillwater Coffee Club rotates through Canada's top independent roasters, ships freshly-roasted coffee within days, and gives you the flexibility to skip, swap, or cancel any time — with free shipping on every order.
How does Stillwater Coffee Club work?
Take our 3-question quiz. We match you to a freshly-roasted coffee from one of our Canadian roaster partners and ship it to you monthly. You rate each coffee, and our matching gets sharper over time.
How much does a coffee subscription cost?
Subscriptions start at $42.76/month for two 300g bags ($21.38 per bag). You can add more bags if you drink more coffee. Shipping is always free for subscribers.
Can I cancel, skip, or pause my subscription?
Yes — any time, with no fees. Manage your subscription from your account dashboard to skip a month, pause, swap coffees, or cancel.
How fresh is the coffee?
Our partner roasters roast to order. Coffee doesn't sit in our warehouse longer than a week before shipping to you. A few roasters rest their coffee for a few days after roasting — this lets the beans de-gas so you don't drink them while they're too "raw" — and we honour that to make sure you get the coffee the way it was intended.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes — we ship free to every province and territory in Canada. Subscribers in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary, Ottawa, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and everywhere else receive the same rotating coffees at the same price.
Is there a coffee of the month club option?
Yes — our subscription is a monthly coffee club. Every month you get a new coffee from a different Canadian roaster, so you're always discovering something new.
Do you offer gift subscriptions?
Yes. See our gift subscriptions for 3-, 6-, and 12-month options — great for birthdays, holidays, and housewarming gifts.
Where does your coffee come from?
Our roasters source single-origin coffees through direct trade relationships with farms around the world — Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, Kenya, and more — and roast them here in Canada. Read more about our impact and sourcing on our impact page.
