What is the best coffee subscription in Canada?

Stillwater Coffee Club is a Canadian coffee subscription that ships freshly roasted, single-origin and small-batch coffee from some of Canada's best specialty roasters, including De Mello, Pilot, Monogram and Rosso. A short taste quiz matches each delivery to how you like to drink coffee, and you can switch or cancel anytime.

How does a coffee subscription work?

After a 30-second taste quiz, we match you with coffee from a rotating lineup of top Canadian roasters. The beans are roasted fresh and shipped to your door each month. You can pause, change your roast preferences, or cancel your coffee subscription anytime.

Does Stillwater ship coffee across Canada?

Yes. We ship across Canada, anywhere Canada Post delivers, which covers every province and territory. Every bag is roasted to order before it ships.

How much does a cup of Stillwater coffee cost?

As low as $1.15 a cup, at 16g per cup. That is our Classic coffee on a 12-month prepaid plan, $21.60 for a 300g bag, which makes just under 19 cups. On a monthly plan, Balanced & Sweet is $24.70 a bag, or $1.32 a cup.

Is the coffee ethically and sustainably sourced?

Yes. We partner with Canadian roasters who buy through direct trade relationships, paying farmers fairly and prioritizing quality and transparency over the lowest price.

Which Canadian roasters does Stillwater feature?

We curate a rotating lineup of Canada's best specialty roasters, including names like De Mello, Pilot, Monogram and Rosso. Each delivery introduces you to top roasters you might not find at your local grocery store.

Is a coffee subscription a good fit if I'm new to specialty coffee?

Yes. Our taste quiz makes specialty coffee approachable by matching beans to flavours you already enjoy, so you can explore Canada's best roasters without needing to know origins or roast levels first.

How do you choose the coffee?

We're a team of well-traveled coffee connoisseurs, and are constantly sampling the latest from the best roasters across Canada in all sorts of formats (pour over, espresso, aeropress, and yes, cupping). Every once in a while, we'll sample a coffee lineup that we think meets all of our lofty expectations, and choose that roaster to be part of our rotation.

Can I skip a shipment or cancel anytime?

Absolutely. You’re in control. Skip, pause, or cancel your subscription whenever you like from Manage Subscriptions.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Shipping is free on all subscription orders with 2 or more bags, as well as orders over $75.

What if I don’t like a coffee I receive?

No problem. Just let us know and we’ll make it right - whether that’s sending a replacement or adjusting future picks.

How fresh is the coffee?

Very. Every bag is roasted to order, then shipped from us to you.

Do I need special equipment to brew your coffee?

You won't need special equipment to brew great coffee. Any brewing method can produce an exceptional cup of coffee.
