About Detour

Detour Coffee Roasters was founded in 2009 in a back alleyway in Dundas, Ontario, by a small team that wanted to make coffee accessible and approachable. Their focus is on relationships with producers, process traceability, and the quality of what ends up in the bag.

Coffee is roasted in small batches on a Loring Coffee Roaster using convection heat, which helps bring out sweetness, acidity, aromatics, and texture in each lot.
