La Falda 'Field Blend'

Jesus Galeas, known as "Chungo," inherited La Falda farm in Honduras' Comayagua mountains in 2014 from his father, who started growing coffee there over 30 years ago. The farm produces a field blend of Bourbon and Typica varieties.

Jesus works as a lab assistant at Cafe Raga, training in cupping and sample roasting while bringing passionate energy to everything he does. Starting at age 19 selling cherries to local buyers, he discovered specialty markets and made the leap.

He invested in his own processing equipment - depulpers, solar dryers, and storage facilities - to control quality and preserve freshness rather than selling to intermediaries.
