About David Kim Coffee

David Kim roasted at Phil & Sebastian for seven years before starting a label under his own name, built around the small, high-scoring lots he buys each season.

Every box lists the producer, variety, fermentation, drying and altitude on the side panel. Kim roasts in Calgary at Paradigm Spark, the roastery he opened in 2021.

David Kim's approach to roasting is precise and meticulous. His team measures and records extraction on every coffee, so the roast is set by data, not by memory, and the roast is intentionally kept light as a way to let the farm and the ferment shine through.
