This espresso blend combines two single origin coffees: a Brazilian Yellow Bourbon and a Guatemalan coffee grown between 1,000 and 1,750 meters above sea level. The Brazilian component is a Yellow Bourbon, a variety known for producing consistent, balanced cups and one that thrives in Brazil's lower-altitude growing regions. The Guatemalan coffee brings contrast, grown at higher elevations where cooler temperatures slow cherry development and concentrate the sugars in the bean.

Blending for espresso is a deliberate process. Single origin coffees can shift seasonally, so pairing two origins lets a roaster balance out those changes while maintaining a consistent cup across batches. The Brazil grounds the blend with body and sweetness, while the Guatemala adds brightness and complexity. Together they're designed to hold up well under the pressure and heat of espresso extraction, where imbalances tend to get amplified rather than hidden.
