The Barbosa family has grown coffee for four generations, perfecting their craft on the same land. Danilo Barbosa took over the family business in 1979 and now works alongside his wife Imaculada and sons Vitor and Sergio on their 983-hectare coffee operation.
In 2018, Danilo partnered with local expert Deyvid Leandro to master fermentation and quality control. They won the Brazilian Cup of Excellence in 2021, the highest recognition in coffee competitions.
The Barbosas maintain over 1,000 hectares of protected natural reserves alongside their coffee production as part of their commitment to environmental sustainability.
