Ethiopia Qabballe Raro Nensebo Natural

Ture Waji runs Sookoo Coffee and operates the Raro Nensebo drying station in Uraga, Guji. Smallholder farmers from around Teraga bring their coffee here for natural processing, where cherries dry on raised beds for weeks before milling. The region is often mislabeled as Sidamo Guji, but it's purely Guji territory. This Qabballe lot comes from outgrower farmers working at high elevations in Oromia. Natural processing means the fruit stays on the bean during drying, which takes careful monitoring to avoid fermentation problems. When done well, you get clean fruit flavors without the funk.
