Octavio and his family run El Durazno farm in Guatemala's San Antonio Huista region, where they grow coffee on land that used to be a peach orchard - hence the name "El Durazno" (The Peach). Coffee became their way to support their family of six.

Despite rising labor costs making farming challenging, Octavio stays committed to quality processing. He mills coffee the same day it's picked, uses flotation washing to remove bad cherries, and ferments overnight in cement tanks.

After washing off the mucilage, the coffee sun-dries for four days until it reaches the right moisture content - a careful process that shows in every cup.
