Jose Amado Rios Leiva grew up helping his parents harvest vegetables and pick coffee as day laborers. At 18, he struck out on his own, working in a textile factory and as a bricklayer to save money for his dream of planting coffee trees on his father's land.

By 2023, his farm was ready for its first specialty coffee harvest, and the results convinced Jose he'd found his calling. After years of hard work and patience, he's now focused on producing high-quality coffee that can compete with the best.

This coffee checks a lot of boxes: layered, balanced, and full of character - all from a producer just getting started.
