World first: The Z10 with P.R.G. revolutionizes the preparation of hot coffee specialities and Cold Brew

A true masterpiece of Swiss engineering, the JURA Z10 Diamond Black doubles the range of coffee specialities available. It prepares the entire range of hot products, from the intense espresso to the trendy flat white, at the simple press of a button. And with the Cold Brew specialities, it opens up a whole parallel universe of coffee enjoyment. These innovations are possible thanks to the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.), which recognizes the selected speciality and precisely adjusts the grind fineness in a flash.

JURA has also developed the Cold Extraction Process, a new refreshing process, in the literal sense of the word. Cold water is injected through the freshly ground coffee in slow pulses at high pressure. The result reveals coffee in a completely new light – refreshing, energizing, with a wonderfully balanced aroma.

This top-of-the-range machine of all superlatives is operated using a 4.3" touch display that is twice as fast, combined with the Blue Crystal Rotary Switch. The Speciality Selection menu and artificial intelligence make its use particularly simple and intuitive. The sculptural design of the Z10 reflects the major technological advances it contains. Its convex-concave front bears witness to its extreme manufacturing precision, with great attention paid to detail. The new Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.)
In order to guarantee an optimal grind for each speciality, JURA's engineers developed the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.). This electronically controlled precision grinder adjusts in a few fractions of a second to the predefined grind fineness – with a speed and frequency that would be impossible to reproduce by hand.

The adjustment range goes from a very fine grind for short classics to a very coarse grind for long specialities. But coffee lovers need not worry about any of this: the adjustment is carried out automatically with each preparation. And thanks to the Aroma Selection function, it is also possible to select the value of your choice before each preparation.

Cold Brew technology: freshness at its peak

Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 prepares authentic Cold Brew specialities. Conventional cold drinks are, for the most part, made with coffee that brews hot before cooling. However, on the Z10, the extraction is carried out with cold water pulsed at high pressure and a generally coarser grind. The result in the cup: a refreshing and naturally energizing drink that highlights the fruity aromas of the coffee, without crushing them with bitter substances. Anything but a simple cold coffee!

An 8th-generation brewing unit
The brewing unit is the heart of an automatic coffee machine. The one fitted in the Z10 represents the eighth generation designed by JURA. With its unique 3D brewing technology, the water flows uniformly on several levels through the coffee grounds. It thus draws out a maximum of aroma, both for hot specialities and for Cold Brew drinks.
