This decaf coffee delivers flavors of cookie dough, cinnamon, and lemon without the caffeine. It's decaffeinated using the sugarcane ethyl acetate process, which keeps the coffee's natural sweetness intact better than other methods.
Ten farmers in La Miranda, Antioquia grow Castillo, Typica, and Colombia varieties on 1-hectare farms. They wet-process the coffee themselves before decaffeination. Juan Carlos Arango, who grew up in this village, started Arango Specialty Coffee to create better markets for farmers who stayed after violence drove many families out in 2000.
One bag should yield 18 double espressos or 15 cups of filter coffee. If you find you need less or more, you can manage your subscription.
