It measures the extraction temperature

The dual pressure gauge of the MaraX allows you to control the boiler pressure during the coffee extraction. You will be able to observe the extraction curve from the pre-infusion to the end of the extraction.

An open reservoir

The new engraved and fully open reservoir makes filling and cleaning even easier. It is equipped with sliders to memorize the number of fills and thus facilitate the replacement of the water softener filter.

The new AISI316L stainless steel boiler is another detail aimed at improving the final result: an espresso that keeps the taste and aroma of every coffee from start to finish.

Extractions like you have never seen

Each element of the machine contributes to creating the perfect espresso. The Lelit58 portafilter with the coffee slide coffee spouts delivers the espresso into the cup while respecting the crema. Nothing is done by chance, the incline, the length of the coffee spouts and the open zones are carefully calibrated in order to always give the best extraction.

The design of the MaraX is paired with an unrivalled build quality thanks to its satin stainless steel finish, its drip tray and its cup-warmer with self-cleaning grille.

Cool touch wands cool touch (anti-burn)

The new Lelit wands are all 'cool touch' to avoid burns. Their cleaning is also made simpler to avoid scaling and make the creation of your coffees even easier.

Energy saving

MaraX is equipped with a sophisticated energy-saving system that reduces the pressure in the steam boiler after a period of inactivity of 30 minutes. The saving thus obtained is significant, by avoiding wasting energy unnecessarily. The warm-up time of the machine once switched on is only 24 minutes.

On the MaraX, there are 2 operating modes:

1- X steam mode: In this mode, the machine works as if it were equipped with 2 boilers. Indeed, it guarantees the availability of steam even when the extraction is finished. In this scenario, the temperature profile of the coffee extraction is less stable but becomes more precise during the brewing. The heat exchanger works more intensely in order to balance the temperature variations inside the boiler during the extraction process.

2- X coffee mode: In this mode, the machine works as if it were equipped with a single boiler controlled by PID. The software then switches off the steam boiler during the coffee extraction which allows, on the one hand, to reduce the risk of overheating (a problem often linked to heat-exchanger machines), and on the other hand this allows the thermal stability to be optimized. In order to recognize which mode the appliance is in, simply switch off then switch the machine back on; if the indicator of the ON/OFF switch flashes, this indicates that X Coffee Mode is active.
