The Rocket Appartamento is ideal for the coffee lover who wants a turnkey solution. No worries, it's the perfect machine for getting a perfect espresso every morning.
Simply saying the name Rocket guarantees exceptional material quality and uncommon durability. Rocket's Appartamento machine combines exceptional coffee with a sophisticated and robust design. Being a magnificent piece of machinery made entirely by hand in Italy, it knows how to dress up your counter with style, while allowing you to extract coffees to perfection. Its manual crank is a unique draw for coffee lovers around the world. With its E61 group head coupled to a boiler, it offers a functional steam wand while a coffee is pouring. If you love lattes or cappuccinos, you need this feature.
The E61 group head has reached almost mythical status among deep espresso enthusiasts. Invented in 1961 by Ernesto Valento, to be installed on the machine that bears its name, this group head is still widely used today, and it is just as revolutionary as when it was released in 1961. With 4 kg of brass giving it impressive thermal inertia, the thermal stability of the E61 group head is unbeatable. The group's thermosiphon system circulates the water continuously, in order to always maintain the right temperature.
Finally, a mechanical pre-infusion is created by the pre-infusion valve so that the coffee is progressively immersed in water, which considerably reduces channelling compared to machines without pre-infusion.
THE ADVANTAGE OF A HEAT EXCHANGER MACHINE
The Rocket Appartamento is a single-boiler espresso machine, known as a heat exchanger. This means that a single large boiler, used for steam, houses a smaller boiler that is used for the actual brewing. This small boiler is heated by the steam from the large boiler, which guarantees great thermal inertia, coffee after coffee. Compared to a double-boiler setup, this simpler design, with a powerful 1400 W heating element, an insulated boiler and PID control, maintains an extremely stable temperature.
IMPRESSIVE BUILD QUALITY: STEEL, STEEL, BRASS AND MORE STEEL.
In the world of coffee, the Rocket Espresso brand has become synonymous with impeccable build quality. The all-steel chassis and the stainless steel casing, which add to the timeless design, make Rocket Espresso machines incredibly sturdy and durable. The dry weight of 20 kg also ensures the stability of the machine when you insert the portafilter into the group head. If properly maintained, the Rocket espresso machine can last a lifetime.
