Wilmar Castillo has been around coffee his whole life. He started working on farms in Guatemala's Huehuetenango region when he was just six, learning alongside his father and three older brothers.
About 14 years ago, Wilmar moved his family to Hoja Blanca, a small valley that local farmers always said was perfect for growing coffee. His farm, Vista Al Bosque ("Overlooking the Forest"), sits right next to his brothers' farms.
Today, Wilmar runs the farm with his wife and teenage son, building the kind of future for his family that he dreamed about during those early morning harvests as a kid.
